• Appearance : With Invisalign and clear correct being a  transparent, thermoplastic material, it almost looks as if nothing is on your teeth at all. Some prefer the invisible look of clear correctors over the obvious appearance of traditional braces.

• Comfort : The clear correctors are easily removeable, so you can take them on and off to eat food, in a matter of seconds. Cleaning is also the same with clear correctos, you remove them, clean, and re apply. With traditional braces, they are fixed onto your teeth for the entire process, and you will have to adapt to eating, and cleaning, with the braces on. Braces are also very uncomfortable when first applied, and some would rather avoid that experience.

• Effectiveness and accessibility : Traditional braces fix almost any case of uneven teeth. Clear correctors will only work for some patients, more severe cases will need braces. Since braces are a fixed system, you have less chances of slowing the process, while with clear correctors, some patients will not use them as instructed, and the desired outcome will be delayed. Traditional braces are more effective, giving a better final result, and a quicker overall treatment time.
